Chocolate Filled Tortillas

I'm starting to feel at home at our new place, and have managed to unpack a few more boxes. Nothing is really "in it's place" yet, but it will probably take some time to reach that stage.

The only thing is, that I'm effectively broke at the moment. With the money I took out while in Dallas, and the money we've used on the apartment, I've crossed the magic 15000 DKK limit of my visa. This basically means that I've spent to much money in the last 30 days, and they won't let me spend any more. I can't use my visa anywhere, not even in stores, and I just spend my last 47p on a can of diced tomatoes for my dinner last night.

Don't worry mom, It's not as bad as it sounds :) I managed to buy some food before my cash ran out, so I've still got enough for dinner for a couple of days. I thought I had enough for breakfast as well, but for some strange reason I forgot to put the milk back into the fridge yesterday, so I had to throw it out last night. What that means though, is that I had to think of what else I could eat for breakfast, and that's why i ended up eating chocolate filled tortillas. Heated slightly on a frying pan and with a spread of really nice chocolate spread, it turned out to be not only filling, but also quite nice.

Even though I can't use my visa, I'm still not completely lost. On Saturday I took out about 2000 DKK and put them into my new bank account. I had expected to pay my TV license within a few days, and wanted to make sure there were enough money in the account, but apparently I don't have to pay it until the middle of March, so all I have to do is find an HSBC branch and get some money out. I tried yesterday, when I discovered that my card didn't work, but since I haven't yet received my debit card, I need to get into the bank where I can use one of their machines with a touchscreen so I can key in my account number. Now I just need to find a bank near by...

Oh yeah, I took some pictures of our apartment (or more likely the mess in our apartment) and will post them as soon as I can. This might not be for a few days, as I still haven't heard from Virgin Media about the cable and internet I ordered.
